Thank
You for purchasing Melek Ra!.
As you unpack your
sculpture, take a good look to make sure that everything is in order. We work hard to

into any problems, please call us immediately.
-
Before
assembling your kit, remove any flash (excess resin around the seams
with an X-acto knife.
-
Clean
up any seam lines or imperfections with small files, sand paper, and
A/B putty (available in Hobby Shops and Hardware stores).
-
Be
sure to wash all of the parts completely using dish soap and water.
This is an important step. Don't skip it!
-
Once
the parts are completely dry, spray them with a quality primer.
-
If
the primer reveals any imperfections that you didn't spot before,
now is the time to clean them and re-prime. You can use spot putty
for filling fine holes and scratches.
-
Carefully
glue the torso to the legs and the goatie to the chin. Use cyanoacrylate
(Super Glue) or epoxy cement. For a better bond, scrape any paint from the
surfaces to be glued. Fill and blend the seams before painting
-
For
the best results, use an airbrush for the large areas. If you are
going to use a brush, thin your paint and work slowly. Be sure that
each coat is dry before applying the next.
-
Once
you’ve finished base coating Melek Ra!, you should finish assembling the
figure before moving on to final detailing. Because of the character and
design of this kit, the joints will be easy to hide.
-
Using
washes and dry brushing will really bring out the details. A little patience
at this stage will go a long way. The detail and texture of this kit are
perfect for dry brush.
